You guys probably heard about the theory according to which Yamato witnessed Oden’s death and got inspiration from him.

I re-read the Wano arc again and I noticed something interesting in chapter 971. There was a character wearing similar costume as Yamato watching Oden’s execution. It’s probably just a coincidence though.
