A third One Piece Nissin Cup Noodles commercial has made its debut: Vivi’s commercial with Hungry Days Cup Noodle in the school/slice of life setting!
There are a lot of great little references. There’s a reference to Joker too.
One thing I noticed is that characters are not just doing some random references to the manga or other anime, there’s a continuous chronology to this that mirrors the events in One Piece, they have a story line! And here is the proof:
On the first commercial that was about Zoro they had Blackbeard sucking up to Whitebeard.
Then on the second one with Nami they had Blackbeard fighting with Thatch over a Devil Fruit.
And now on this one about Vivi they had Blackbeard already with the Blackbeard Pirates fighting with Ace while Whitebeard restrains him
These ads have a story within the story, probably multiple ones, and these multiple side-stories have continuity between each advertisements!
