The Five Elders Are Non-Devil Fruit Users

So I was re-reading Chapter 1111 and I noticed a detail that may be interesting on the power of the Five Elders. Usually when the power of a character is introduced Oda straight up names the devil fruit. The most recent case involves the Blackbeard Pirates. In their fight with Law, the fruit name is mentioned right below the character’s name:

Now compare that to the Gorosei powers introduction:

There is absolutely no mention to any devil fruit power. What I initially thought was a detail has become more apparently relevant the more I thought about it. The obvious implication is that the Five Elders are not devil fruit users. Although their powers remains unexplained, there are plenty of clues that suggest they are not common devil fruit users, such as the black magic circles, the regeneration and the oddly specific comment on Saturn’s eyes about not looking human.
