The Truth behind T Bone’s Death
“Ship Cutter” T Bone was a Marine Vice Admiral. Sometime around the Egghead Arc, he was killed at Pepe Kingdom for the bounty he received from the Cross Guild.
There’s no way T-Bone, who was strong enough to survive Zoro’s fierce attack in chapter 371, was murdered by that weak-looking civilian who’s probably too poor to even afford a gun. After T-Bone saw the widespread starvation in Pepe Kingdom, he must’ve willingly killed himself so that civilian could use the bounty money to feed his starving family.
This heroic sacrifice was even foreshadowed by T-Bone’s awesome speech in chapter 371:
“In this fleeting life, this world full of inequalities, I must show them that there is justice!! And it will be extended to the citizens! Even if these hands… and these feet… are shorn off by the rough waves! I will not fail to protect the lives of innocent civilians!!”
RIP the kindest marine who ever lived. He died as he lived, protecting innocent civilians.
