In the amazing chapter 944 we learned the true identity of Kamazo. He is revealed to be Kid’s crewmate, Killer, who became a victim of a failed SMILE fruit.
After eating a faulty SMILE fruit, Killer lost the ability to express negative emotions and is now only able to smile and laugh.
By learning this, something came to my mind.
Since Kamazou’s introduction, we’ve seen his unique laugh: FA FA FA FA….
In this chapter, not only his laugh was given emphasys but we could see him struggling as he laughs due to Smile countereffects.
All this reminded me of a song called Psycho Killer, from Talking Heads… the lyrics fits so perfectly it’s kind of odd:
