Oda finally reveals who took Eustass Kid’s arm

Eustass “Captain” Kid is the captain of the Kid Pirates and one of twelve pirates who are referred to as the “Worst Generation”. He has earned a bounty of 3,000,000,000 Berries for his role in defeating Big Mom of the Four Emperors alongside Trafalgar Law during the Raid on Onigashima, making him one of the most dangerous pirates in the world, with his new bounty matching that of the current Emperor and rival, Monkey D. Luffy.

Sometime during the two-year timeskip, as Kid got very involved in many conflicts, he lost his left forearm in battle against the Red Hair Pirates.

Finally Oda has revealed who cut Eustass Kid’s arm in the recent SBS Volume 107:

Question: In Chapter 1076, Lucky Roux said “Gyahahaha! You’re one to talk Beck! Who do you think he’s mad at?” So… Does this mean that it was Beckman who took Kid’s arm?

Oda: Yes it seems like it! This is the pirate world, where only the strong ones remain!

This is a true testament to Beckman’s strength. Beckman has not been heavily involved in the story up until this point, he is especially known for his advanced intellect, having the highest IQ of any character introduced during the East Blue Saga (above the master strategist Kuro’s and Nami’s).
But according to the “One Piece: Vivre Card Databook” Beckman is incredible powerful in terms of physical combat and is feared by even the most powerful warriors of the New World!
